This fixed-term post, represents an exciting opportunity for an individual to join a team of staff in Keele University’s Directorate for Research, Innovation and Engagement. The Directorate is responsible for a wide range of central University activity ranging from research support to business engagement.

You will be based in the recently formed Faculty of Natural Sciences and Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences research support hub in the centre of campus. Your main tasks will be to review, draft and negotiate contracts for the faculties and provide IP management support where appropriate. You will be an integral part of the Project Assurance Contracts team and will work closely with the other support teams within the hub to deliver timely and effective support for research, teaching and innovation projects. 

You will have a degree qualification or relevant experience either from a research support, legal or contract management background. Proficiency in handling contracts and negotiating will be beneficial. Effective time management, the ability to prioritise and excellent communication skills are essential.
