Head of Subject – Business and Economics and Economics

Pay Scale: Main Scale Plus TLR 2A

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Head of Business & Economics to join our outstanding Humanities Faculty.

You will be responsible for the development of the Business & Economics curriculum as well as lead the development and implementation of schemes of learning in these popular subject areas.

In this role you will liaise with other curriculum leaders, Head of Faculty and the senior leadership team regarding the delivery of curriculum initiatives in Business & Economics, keep all other teaching staff informed of curriculum developments and advise on teaching methods.

You must have a passion for teaching and learning together with the ability to inspire and motivate our students and possess the skills and personal qualities needed to lead the department forward. You may also be expected to support the wider Faculty in the delivery of some KS3 Humanities based learning.
