Senior Individual Giving Officer
About the role
As we embark on an exciting period of growth at the Canal & River Trust, we are looking for an experienced direct marketer who can help us develop and deliver innovative stewardship programmes that maximise engagement with our supporters and the wider public. A key focus is on providing the best possible donor experience, which will mean developing and managing engaging supporter journeys across multiple channels. You will also work on the ongoing strategy for our supporter engagement programme, and on ensuring our digital engagement activities are as effective as possible. The role involves providing expert support to our Supporter Engagement & Retention Manager, and project managing a variety of retention projects.
This role calls for someone with comprehensive experience of direct marketing and supporter stewardship, and a proven track record of contributing to successful fundraising strategies. Digital know-how is also very important, particularly when it comes to building successful websites and email platforms. Other essential areas of experience include process development, supplier management and the testing and delivery of fundraising and stewardship products.
A creative and strategic thinker, with excellent influencing and project management skills, you will be able to make a significant contribution to the growth and continuing success of the Trust.
