Waking Night Support Worker
We have an excellent opportunity for a Waking Night Support Worker to join a specialist residential home for adults with autism, in Fareham, Hampshire.
You will be working in a large 8 bed autism-specific house, working with adults with ASD and associated communication issues and challenging behaviour. This is a loud and lively home, and we are keen to welcome people who are energetic, outgoing, confident and resilient.
Duties will include support with evening and morning routines, light housekeeping through the night, behavioural support and personal care.
Working hours are 40 hours per week across 4 x 10 hour night shifts, including some weekend and bank holiday working.
You will receive tailored and specialist training in Autism, Positive Behaviour Support and total communication approaches, alongside other ongoing training areas. There are excellent progression opportunities, as well as a targeted development course that can help you progress from Support Worker to Deputy Manager and beyond for the right person.
Pay rate for this role is £7 per hour. Benefits include:
