Salary: £37,000 - £40,000 dependant on experience

The company is the independent charity that manages the Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace, the Banqueting House, Kensington Palace, Kew Palace and Hillsborough Castle in Northern Ireland. They help everyone to explore the story of how monarchs and people have shaped society in some of the greatest palaces ever built.
They now have an exciting opportunity for a capable and motivated Procurement and Contracts Manager to ensure all procurement and contracting activity goes smoothly.
Your key responsibility will be providing a professional and efficient service ranging from provision of advice and guidance for small contracts to leading the management of procurement processes for complex and higher value contracts from start to finish.
Under taking category spend reviews and supporting colleagues in contract and supplier management are also important facets of the role.
To succeed in this role you will need to possess strong negotiation skills to secure value for money for the organisation with the ability to review and critically assess specifications, proposals and contractual terms in order to recognise and mitigate contractual and commercial risk.
As a member of a team of four you'll also have the ability to work self-sufficiently and effectively prioritise a large number of projects at once.
Ideally you will be MCIPS qualified (or along the path to qualification), but this is not essential if extensive practical experience can be demonstrated. However, a good understanding of Procurement best practice and attention to detail is key.
