Transport Supervisor required
A full time vacancy has now arisen for an experienced Transport Supervisor at our Hull Plant.
The jobholder requires a minimum of 2 years' experience within a Transport Office role. You will be working closely with the Transport Manager to maintain standards and ensure the smooth running of the Department. Holiday and absence cover driving will also be a part of the remit for this role.
You will be responsible for ensuring the Company's transport operation is managed in line with all legal requirements, help coordinate vehicle maintenance schedules, update company Traffic Management Systems to ensure records are accurate and deal with daily operational problems.
Extensive knowledge of Drivers Hours, Tachograph and WTD legislation to ensure legal compliance. Excellent IT skills are also essential.
