Management Accountant
Bromyard
Salary: circa £30,000 (dependent on experience)

Founded in 1976 they have grown consistently and profitably under the current management team and employ over 50 people in our 11,000 sq ft factory in the Herefordshire countryside. The company manufacture, print and finish all of the products we sell on site from a wide range of raw materials.

We currently have an opportunity for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and experienced individual to join our team as the Senior Accountant of a team of 3.
Duties to include: To deal with the day-to-day financial tasks such as data entry, VAT returns and payroll. To also prepare and present monthly management accounts and any other financial reports as required to the directors.
Typical responsibilities:
- Purchase orders and invoicing
- Sales accounting and credit control
- Cash and banking admin
- Data processing
- Payroll accounting
- Liaising with managerial staff, colleagues and clients
- Preparing and reconciling ledger balances
- General book keeping
- Completing and submitting VAT returns
We are looking for the following skills and experiences:
- Previous experience within a similar finance roll is essential
- Excellent knowledge of Sage and spreadsheets (Sage Accounts and Sage Payroll)
- AAT qualified as a minimum
- A thorough, methodical approach
- Strong mathematical and problem solving skills
- Good communication skills
- Proven commercial skills
- Ability to work with and manage the financial team
Hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm
Standard 28 days holiday per year (20 days plus national holidays)
