We are looking to recruit two Building Services Engineers in each of the specialties of Fire and Water.
About the role: In both roles, you will specify, source and maintain mechanical and electrical engineering assets including but not limited to Water/Life Safety Systems, as well as proactively managing maintenance and repairing those assets through a planned maintenance programme. You will ensure that all assets are delivered to a defined quality in a safe and cost effective manner in support of University requirements and statutory compliance.
About you: As the ideal applicant, you will be educated to degree level in a relevant subject or with a significant track record in delivery of planned mechanical and electrical asset maintenance. You will have experience of managing mechanical and electrical asset maintenance as well as experience of preparing maintenance specifications, tendering processes, contract service delivery management & contract administration. Knowledge of managing finances and budgeting is essential.
