Our client is a large, specialist land-based College operating over eight main sites across the North of England including centres in York, Penrith and Middlesbrough.
Joining them in this vital managerial role, you will provide the strategic overview of all transport, accommodation, health & safety and estates management functions across all College sites.
You will make a significant contribution to strategic and business planning within the Physical Resources Directorate, providing project management expertise and support for capital developments.
Working with the Director of Physical Resources and the Head of College Estates you will develop detailed capital development and planned maintenance plans for all College sites.
Your ability to lead and motivate diverse teams will ensure that each function communicates and works collaboratively to deliver the highest standards of service.
Educated to Degree (or equivalent), and with significant knowledge and understanding of facilities management or estates management, you will have a proven track record of facilities service delivery across a multi-site organisation. This is a challenging role which will require you to be innovative, flexible and resilient.
Capable of driving innovation and change, you will identify and implement new initiatives and working practices, taking account of available resources and national developments.
With a high level of financial awareness, you will ensure the compliance with all relevant College policies and procedures, with particular emphasis on sustainability and value for money.
As a respected leader you will actively support the achievement of the college’s goals, promoting and encouraging behaviours that uphold the missions and values that make the College such a great place to work and learn.
