Procurement Manager - FMCG

An established FMCG company is looking for a tenacious, pragmatic and innvoative Procurement Manager for one of their offices based in London. This is an all-encompassing role managing the 360* procurement process; overlooking a specific category of products - driving the tendering & supplier selection, contracting, implementation and supplier relationship management for the allocated spend.
Key Responsibilities
* Sourcing activity & category management for an extremely dynamic consumer goods category (worth £250m)
* Working as part of Procurement function working on all elements of the sourcing cycle running tenders and leading contract negotiations
* Creating category plans and strategies aligning these with pipeline to reduce cost where possible and mitigate risk
* Work with team members, business partners and stakeholders to deliver the best outcomes in line with aims
Key Skills
* Graduate calibre
* CIPS qualified
* A strong understanding of FMCG Procurement with at least 5 + years experience
* Customer & supplier oriented
* Confident negotiator
* Strong business accumen
* Interpersonal communication skills
* Pragmatic
