Are you a talented fundraiser with a strong community focus and corporate or events experience? Join St. Rocco's dedicated fundraising team raising vital funds to support hospice care. As Corporate and Community Fundraiser for St Rocco's Hospice, you will be responsible for building relationships with corporate clients in the community, developing successful partnerships with community and business supporters and raising funds through donations, sponsorships, employee fundraising and events. You will also act as an ambassador in the community for St Rocco's Hospice. You will be an individual of graduate calibre, with the drive and determination to succeed in a competitive environment. You will be engaging, target focused, with experience of securing long term partnerships, a proven track record in a fundraising or sales environment plus experience of high level business negotiations, face to face presentations and networking. About the Charity - At St Rocco's we want to make every day count for our patients living with life limiting illness and their loved ones. This is a role where you will make a real difference to all those who need our care. The successful candidate will join a dedicated fundraising team whose work supports the continued provision of the Hospice's highly valued services. This exciting position comes with an attractive package: Benefits: Contributory Company Group Pension Plan, (If you are a member of the NHS Pension Scheme, you have the option of continuing in this scheme), Life Assurance and a Medical Cash Plan - T&C's apply, free onsite parking, Annual holiday entitlement in any holiday year is 7 working weeks, inclusive of all public holiday entitlement. Hours: 37.5 hours per week, worked over 5 days between Monday to Sunday at days and times notified by your line manager. These hours do not include a 1/2 hour unpaid meal break. Salary: GBP20,000 to GBP22,000 per annum depending upon skills & experience. The post is not a salary incremental post and pay reviews are at the discretion of the Hospice. There will be travel within the local geographical region therefore a full driver's licence and own car with a valid motor insurance certificate that shows fully comprehensive business use cover at Class 2 level is required.
