We currently have a unique opportunity to work for one of the leading Govenment Software Providers in Leeds. In this role you will work with a current director who started in this same graduate position a little over 5 years ago who will mentor, develop and give you all the support and guidance needed to be successful in the role. This unique opportunity is to work within a 'softer' more consultative sales environment where the ability to build meaningful relastionships are key.

The purpose of the role is to pursue and secure sales opportunities with new clients as well as to sell product upgrades and provide account management to existing ones. It is essential to maintain the companies excellent image as well as be a key first point of contact to some of our biggest clients.

You will be expected to provide advice on the companies range of solutions presenting the company and its products in customer meetings, trade shows, conferences as well as seminars. You will be visiting clients from very early on in your career so this is a great chance to work for a business that gives responsibility and autonomy so high levels of self motivation and professionalism is essential.

Ideally you will be a recent graduate with drive, ambition and the enthusiasm to carve a real career.

Trainee Business Development Manager

* Meeting potential new customers and developing opportunities for the sale of products and services
* Developing relationships within prospective targets to cover many individuals with a clear view on their roles and responsibilities within the sales process
* Presenting products and services to prospective clients
* Producing customer quotes, preparation and assisting with the completion of tenders and associated documentation
* Updating the CRM system for customer contact details and history
* Marketing of products and services to potential and existing clients
* Attending trade shows and other events such as seminars, user groups, etc
* Return market information and intelligence through general sales visits and conference attendance.
* Liaising with partners when necessary
* Answering the sales hotline and providing general information on our range of products and services
* Carrying out other reasonable duties where necessary

Trainee Business Development Manager

* Degree educated
* Some experience of working within a business environment
* Any sales experience would be a significant advantage
* Confident, ambitious and enthusiastic
* Happy to deliver presentation to clients
* Ability to travel throughout the UK
* Eager to learn
