Direct Marketing Executive
For over 50 years our research has saved lives. We've broken new ground, revolutionised treatments and transformed care. But heart and circulatory disease still kills one in four people in the UK. That's why we need you.
About the role
We're recruiting for a Direct Marketing Executive to join our Legacies Marketing team to promote gifts in Wills to warm and cold audiences. Legacies are hugely important to the BHF and make up almost half of our income, in FY16/17 that was an incredible GBP73m.
It's an exciting time to be joining the Legacy Marketing team as we embark on a new marketing strategy. You'll be part of an ambitious and fast-paced team that helps ensure the BHF can continue to fight heart disease.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to enter into the charity sector. You will be responsible for some of our new marketing activity and working closely with the Senior Legacy Direct Marketing Executive you'll work on new and existing elements of our programme, taking ownership of campaigns in the long term.
The successful candidate will have strong direct marketing, campaign and project skills. With excellent communication and relationship building skills you'll work with external agencies. You will show a demonstrable understanding of supporter behaviour, as well as drivers of loyalty and engagement. With strong organisational skills you'll have the ability to manage campaign budgets. You will also be responsible for monitoring and analysing of outcomes of campaigns.
We are looking for someone with a can-do attitude who can bring value to the team. Charity experience is not a necessity for this role and we are looking for candidates to show drive to be part of our team as we embark on a new marketing strategy and play an ambitious role ensuring the BHF can continue to fight heart disease.
