Grants Administrator GBP per annum (but 4 day P/T on a pro-rated salary would be considered for the right candidate) 35 hours per week London W1 Blind Veterans UK believes that no one who has served our country should have to battle blindness alone. We are looking for a patient and methodical Grants Administrator to join our team, processing grants to our members ensuring they receive the financial assistance they need. Reporting directly to the Regional Manager (East), the successful candidate will be responsible for: Processing applications and instructing payments for regular and one off grants. Preparing high volume and individual correspondence with members. Responding to queries from members, Community Support Workers and external agencies over the phone. Working with colleagues to develop the in house beneficiary database. Numerate, articulate and with a flexible approach, you will have a good level of IT literacy including databases, and excellent communication skills. The abilities to work under initiative and to maintain a high degree of confidentiality are also vital. Benefits include free life assurance and a generous pension scheme.
