Bid Manager/Writer

Due to our continual success in the Wales & The West we are now expanding our team in Bristol and recruit an experienced Bid Manager/ Writer that will align themselves with our commitment to customer service, quality and our culture.

With a track record of successful tenders, you will be responsible for leading the first stage bid process during the pre-construction phase of projects ranging in value from GBP2m to GBP45m. You should have good technical knowledge across the construction phase; commercial acumen and be able to coordinate both the design and estimating resources assigned to each bid; producing high quality, qualitative bid submissions on time, within budget. Essential and Desirable Criteria

Essential Criteria

• Experience of leading the bid process
• Understanding of complex technical schemes
• Be able to deal with with diverse technical output
• Creatively be able to write successful bid submissions
• Excellent resource planning skills
• Experience of using Microsoft Office

Desirable Criteria

• Full membership of secondary technical professional body
