We're looking for an Assistant General Manager specifically for looking after our Service Delivery department. We're after someone who can lead teams and get stuck in!!

We're a national leader in automobile auctions with branches across the UK and we're currently recruiting for our South London branch. It's all systems go here, we're super busy all year round and we want you to be able to keep up with the pace.

We want you to Lead, Manage and Drive all aspects of the Service Delivery function. This focuses on our Vendor Support, Auction Teams, Payment Teams and Reception and pretty much encompasses and department dealing direct with clients and customers.

As well as overseeing the smooth running of each function with help of the department supervisors you will look after recruitment and performance of each team looking at KPI's and SLA's. You'll be the initial point of escalation for any service based enquiries for both staff and clients and will be the overall person in charge of handling customers when it comes to handling complaints quickly and efficiently.

You will work alongside the Assistant General Manager of Operations and the Buying Services Manager.

It's a varied role and you will build excellent relationships with both Staff Teams and Clients alike, they're friendly bunch so it's a great role to be in.

Ideally what we are looking for in you is............

  • Proven leadership experience within a similar environment, successfully managing teams
  • Experience of working within rigid regulations and procedures
  • Experience within a customer facing role with the ability to resolve customer queries and complaints to a mutual satisfaction
  • Background in a fast paced business environment
  • Budgetary and business planning experience
  • Experience in understanding and analysing financial reports or budgets with the ability to analyse data to drive performance
  • Proven track record of improving performance and profitability through change management and process efficiency
