We are now looking to recruit a Supervisor who will be responsible for a warehouse team and will be overseeing and coordinating daily warehouse activities, including the packing and dispatching of products in accordance with order requirements for delivery to customers. In this role, you will also be responsible for analysing sales and forecasts and monitoring stock levels to ensure delivery requirements are met.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
Lead and motivate the team to ensure that agreed daily/weekly targets are achieved, including accuracy and quality standards
Full people management responsibilities for the team
Run the daily print for post and run daily reports to allocate work to the team
Ensure that the correct stock and inventory levels are maintained at optimum levels
Liaise with the Purchasing and Sales & Marketing departments on a regular basis to ensure that required products are in stock
Work closely with the Warehouse Manager to ensure that the required level of resources are available so that orders are dispatched on time to the correct customers
Organise and coordinate the team for unloading all goods in deliveries
Complete daily/weekly/monthly KPI reporting as required
Support the Warehouse Manager to oversee and maintain a safe working environment and follow safe working practices
Deputise for the Warehouse Manager when required

The successful candidate will need to have previous experience of managing and coaching a team, in a target driven environment and experience of working within distribution/warehousing. You will also need to have the ability to analyse data and intermediate knowledge of Excel would be preferable. Having knowledge and experience using Lean tools and methodologies would be an advantage to help drive forward change and improvement initiatives within the warehouse.

Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 08::00 with one hour unpaid lunch break.
