This new and rapidly growing group has completed 12 acquisitions since April 2016, which has seen their employee base grown from 50 to 800+ people in 18 months with 24 offices. As a consequence, their environment is an exciting place to be, as well as rapidly changing and will continue to grow.

They require a Data Analyst/Data Process Auditor to work on their GDPR project to understand and map the data held by their Businesses, its journey through the Businesses and to keep an inventory of people that may have access to the data and their requirements to do so.

You will work across the Information Security, and Compliance & Risk teams on a regular basis. The role will be based out of Retford with travel to our offices throughout the UK required.

While the role will develop over time and provide a wide range of opportunities, there are several immediate priorities.

Key responsibilities include:
- To interview IT and Operational Staff to identify applications / locations in which data may be stored (both active and inactive)
- To interview operational staff to identify the types of data collected, the route the data enters the business and the method and location of its storage and the controls in place to protect its accidental disclosure to unauthorised individuals.
- To interview IT and Operational staff to identify the methods of disposal of information
- To develop maps detailing the types, workflows, access and removal of data stored within the business and define the categories the information falls within.
- To audit a company's compliance against the defined policies and procedures
- To work with the Group Information Security Officer to ensure that corrective action is completed where shortfalls are identified.

The ideal candidate will have experience or qualification in an audit, IT or business analysis discipline; be computer literate and possess strong analytical skills.
