Job Title: Avaya IP Office Engineer

Location: Based in Camberley - This is a field service engineering role and involves working with customers around the UK

Salary: £25K - £34k depending on experience + Company Vehicle

The project co-ordinator will be responsible for:

As a Telecoms engineer, your role will encompass everything from carrying out pre installation site surveys, installation of fixed and hosted telephone systems. To configure and set up of phone systems, post installation maintenance and ongoing support to our customers. Establishes voice and data networks by running, pulling, terminating cables; installing telecommunications equipment, routers & switches. Establishing connections; programming features and integrations also activating remote access tools. Documents network by labelling and routing equipment and cables; recording configuration and specifications. Maintains customer rapport by listening to and resolving concerns; answering questions.

To be successful in the role you will:

• Any level of AVAYA IP office experience is a great advantage but must have solid Telecoms experience.
• Technical Understanding
• Functional and Technical Skills
• Experience in installing and maintaining telephony systems as well as CAT 5 and 6 cabling
• Have a working knowledge of SIP and VOIP and PBX Technologies
• Have experience with Switches/routers.
• Have a can do attitude, Attention to Detail, and be confident to work as an individual and as a team
• A flexible, proactive approach with good analytical skills
• Ability to manage time and good communication skills.
• A full UK drivers licence
