Our client has an opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join their team and provide exceptional support for a variety of activities. This role is suited to anyone who is in their early stages of their finance career or have an interest in pursuing a career in finance therefore no professional qualifications is required for this role!
Your responsibilities will include the processing of purchase invoices and sales invoices, ensuring that all information is accurately input to the finance system. You will set up new client accounts and process cheque requests for client-related expenditure. Attention to detail and accuracy is an essential part of your role.
Ideally with previous experience gained in a finance department, you will be IT literate with knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook. You will be systematic and logical in your approach to decision making and be able to establish, build and maintain relationships. You will have a friendly, patient nature and maintain a persuasive, diplomatic approach with others. Good time management skills and the capacity to work to deadlines is also a must, as is the ability to remain calm and professional in all interactions.
