The Role

The IT Support Technician will help manage the helpdesk. The role is a combination of customer and technical support for this digital solutions company - and an interest and passion for IT is required. Your responsibilities will include:

• first line support to existing clients with the company's cloud based portal
• fielding customer support issues
• answering support questions, pre-sales questions about features
• providing potential new customers with demonstrations

The Company

Our Bath based client provides specialist support to companies wishing to centralise their document information and make it immediately available. They provide solutions for digital mailrooms, accounts payable automation and document management enabling clients to create paperless and more efficient cost-effective working environments. They have an enviable client base within the professional services sector including Chartered Accountants, Solicitors etc.

The Person

As IT Support you will be technically minded with a customer support focus. You may have experience of working in first line support / customer support / helpdesk environment and a relevant qualification, or you may just be starting out. As long as you have a passion for IT we would like to hear from you. Apart from excellent communication skills, which is a must, It would be great but not absolutely necessary to have:

• good software skills
• knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server / Windows IIS
• basic programming skills in C# / / Aspx / Windows forms

The role is based in smart offices in Bath city centre and you will be working with a small team who are all extremely capable IT professionals. If you want to learn to program, you will be surrounded by great programmers. You will find the office atmosphere relaxed, fun and friendly.
