We're looking for a Pensions Technician Specialist to join us and help us to continue to delight our clients. Pensions experience is essential. About the roleTo ensure key projects and scheme events are completed in line with procedural and clientrequirements and within service level agreements and to provide a continually improving level of customer service in terms of quality, cost and time. * To work with the Senior Pensions Technician/Specialist and Pensions Team Manager to * deliver requirements for Scheme Events and Projects within KPIs (time scales, deliverables, * quality, sign off) and to input into the planning process. * Take ownership of the accuracy and quality of their own work. * Understand, build, maintain and enhance customer relationships. * Regularly review, and feedback on the effectiveness and efficiency of existing processes * Support and assist the management team where required in all aspects of service delivery * and business support for example, ad hoc projects, auditing, etc.Other key tasks * Deliver key projects and scheme events within KPIs, including proactively communicating * on progress. * Perform manual pension calculations to a high standard * Monitor and maintain the incoming workflow and controls around scheme tasks as * required. * Input on projects that use other areas of CEB. * Control the quality of customer outputs to deliver an excellent customer experience. * Promote the provision of a first-class experience for customers and to share knowledge and expertise with other team members. * Challenge the activities inside and outside the team to improve the customer experience. About You * Can identify and explain the difference between DB/DC/Hybrid pension schemes * Ability to perform complex manual calculations * Can demonstrate management of administration platforms including pension member records * Ability to use Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Outlook at the required level: * Excel: can perform a vlookup and produce pivot tables * Word: can prepare and carry out a mail merge exercise * Outlook: can demonstrate use of calendar and tasks to organise their time * Can identify errors, suggest options and take options to correct them * Can demonstrate an attitude of 'get it right first time' for all customer outputs. * Can give and receive feedback to develop own and team performanceWhat's in it for you?At Capita, training and development aren't optional extras: they're how we do our job.
