This growing digital design and marketing agency that requires an enthusiastic web designer with WordPress experience, proven in creating outstanding web experiences across devices and platforms.

You'll be part of their in-house team of handpicked creative geniuses and marketing gurus, you'll be responsible to their Project Manager. They love new ideas and they are passionate about improving all the time, so there's a real opportunity for the right individual to flourish here as the company grows. Of course you'll need a cool head, good sense of humour and a problem solving mindset.

You need to know WordPress inside out and be comfortable eating it for breakfast, lunch and tea. You'll be motivated by creating amazing digital experiences and have a proven track record of creating good, responsive websites that perform well on desktop, tablet and mobile.

You'll be joining a company who are passionate about making a difference to their clients and totally nuts about delivering not just good, but outstanding digital experiences. The Role

- Designing and building responsive WordPress websites
- Customisation of 'off the shelf' themes
- Recommending and installing WordPress Plugins to deliver functionality
- Talking to customers, including some WordPress training
- Maintaining our WordPress architecture, keeping plugins up to date

Specific skills and abilities

- Good front end design skills
- Excellent knowledge of WordPress
- Good HTML 5 and CSS 3 skills
- Some PHP, MySQL skills would be an advantage
- Some knowledge of JQuery and Javascript
- Woocommerce, WordPress Multisites and bootstrap
- Experience with WP Engine

Attributes of the successful candidate

- Zealous about quality, compatibility and multiple platforms and devices
- Passionate about UI / UX design and fanatical about testing
- Meticulous attention to detail, clean coding and reuse
- At least 2 year's experience with WordPress including installation, configuration, admin, security and backups
- Knowledge of integrating with API's and 3rd party platforms
- Excellent knowledge of WordPress Plugins and best industry practices
- A good team player and very strong interpersonal skills
- Willingness to roll up sleeves and muck in to get the job done
