THE ROLE

I am now seeking a Senior Fund / Project Monitor for a firm of specialist consultants to join their office in central London.

You will be an MRICS qualified Building Surveyor, Quantity Surveyor or Project Manager from recently chartered level and have an interest in getting in to the role of Fund / Project Monitor. The ideal candidate will have already gained some experience of the monitoring role.

You will become involved in working closely with many financial institutions on a wide variety of construction projects across many sectors.

Duties will include risk management, report writing, due diligence and clint advisory services.

THE CLIENT

My client is a successful firm of construction consultants with four UK offices providing montoring services for banks, financial institutions and developers.

They work on construction projects across most sectors including hotels, offices, industrial buildings, residential, mixed use, regeneration, infrastructure, healthcare etc.

Projects they are involved with are generally valued from GBP5m to the current largest being GBP800m.

THE CANDIDATE

You will be a an MRICS qualified Building Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor or Project Manager and ideally have some monitoring experience.

Training and support will be given as required.

You will need a good eye for detail and have a good understanding of the construction process.

You are likely to be from a couple of years PQE upwards.

My client will pay in the region of GBP50000 to GBP65000 negotiable plus bonus generally from 10-12% of salary plus pension, health care, life assurance and professional fees.
