Lead Groundsperson (full-time)
Salary: £19,800 to £23,100
Corsham Town Council is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and energetic lead groundsperson to provide day-to-day management and maintenance of Town Council services. The role involves leading, and working, as part of a small team who carry out grounds and building maintenance work in the cemetery, play areas, allotments, public spaces and buildings. They will also be expected to supervise the delivery of the grounds maintenance contract as well as being responsible for hanging the town's Christmas lights and providing support to Town Council events.
The normal working hours for this post are 8am to 4pm Mondays to Thursdays, 8am to 3.30pm, Fridays. Occasional weekend and evening work required.
