Career Progression Coaches

Bristol

Salary: £23,000 to £24,500 (FTE) per annum

24 Months Fixed Term Contract

Housingrecruit.com is advertising for two Career Progression Coaches on behalf of our client, a leading social housing provider based in Bristol.

This role is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing community-based housing association in Bristol, who always try and go the extra mile for their residents. They currently manage nearly 2,000 homes in and around Bristol and South Gloucestershire and have plans to expand in the local area. They have a strong track record of providing great services in their communities and being a great place to work for their staff.

There are two new opportunities for Career Progression Coaches who will pilot new approaches to developing people’s careers over a period of two years. You will be responsible for recruiting residents in work to sign up to a programme of support to help them reach their full potential.

Our client is part of a wider programme also being delivered by Bristol City Council’s Housing and Employment Support teams, Bath and South Gloucestershire Council and being managed by the West of England Combined Authority.

You will be based in Bristol, but are likely to be out and about across the City for most of the week. You should, therefore, be able to work independently but will have the support of the Tenancy Impact Team.  Success will depend on working with partners inside and outside of the organisation so you should have experience of building strong working relationships at all levels.  Ideally, you will already possess relevant qualifications or be willing to complete further training.

Our client offers an excellent company pension scheme, generous holiday entitlement and the opportunity to develop and further your career.  More than that though, they offer the chance to really make a difference and be part of an organisation which may be small in size but big in ambition and reputation.

Closing Date: 4.30pm Monday 19th March 2018

Interview Date: 28th March 2018
