The Team This role is part of the Business Services function and reports to a Legal PA Manager. Legal PAs will support partners and fee earners in a practice group and will be expected to delegate work to Legal Admin Assistants and the Document Support Unit (DSU). This Legal PA vacancy is for our Employment team, which is part of our Litigation and Corporate Risk Department. From small companies to large multinationals, issues such as sickness absence, performance management, equality legislation and discrimination are high on the agenda. So too are complex pensions law issues and the need for robust reward and retention policies. To address these issues, it's critical that clients receive high quality advice from a team that really understands their business and HR team. We invest time learning about our clients' HR needs and provide advice that ranges from day-to-day HR issues through to complex UK and cross-border matters. The Opportunity You will provide a first class PA service to various partners, associates and trainee solicitors in the Employment team. This is a 9 month fixed term contract. Who we're looking for You will have a can-do, positive and proactive approach to tasks and situations, as well as requests for action outside normal scope of duties. Ability to take personal responsibility and remain calm under pressure is essential. You will be professional, diligent and able to exercise tact, discretion and independent good judgment in relation to sensitive and confidential matters.
