The School is a delightful independent standalone prep school of 430 boys and girls aged 2 ½ to 13 set in 260 acres of beautiful Sussex countryside. The tremendous grounds include a Forest School and a School Farm. The school has a proud record of feeding many of the top day and boarding schools in the South East, with a large proportion of leaving students achieving scholarships and awards.

Main Purpose of role:

Working closely with relevant academic and support staff as well as external stakeholders, this role will involve developing and managing commercial and letting activities.

The role will include the development, review and implementation of new commercial strategies whilst maintaining a clear focus on the needs of the School as a whole. Responsibilities include helping to define long term strategic commercial development goals, build key client and stakeholder relationships and identify opportunities to optimise the use of the School's facilities and resources with the objective of enhancing the experience of users and increasing non fee income generation.

The candidate:

The successful candidate must have extensive experience in sales and communications, be proficient in Microsoft packages, including databases. Possess a strong administrative background gained within a busy and demanding environment and must have the ability to work both collaboratively and on your own initiative. Experience of working in a similar role would be advantageous.
