We are currently recruiting for a Payroll Operations Manager to join a large energy services company in the Runcorn area WA7
GBP38,000 - GBP45,000
40 hour working week - Temp 8 Months
Operational governance of the payroll
Supporting a regular review of Systems
Check existing policies and make changes if required. Working with the Finance Manager and Payroll Manager.
Build, maintain and adjust payroll controls - ensuring compliance and controls to safeguard that key areas of risk are identified.
Manage ancillary variable pay components including expenses.
Provide functional support for software and systems as required, including testing and sign-off. Develops and drives a spirit of continuous improvement across the Finance & Payroll Team.
Supports and owns ongoing change to payroll systems and process to design, build, test and implement changes effectively.
Working closely with the HR Process Management team to adhere to People Process such as TUPE, Reward, Benefits & Incentives.
Understands and manages key inputs to the payroll process arising from adjacent processes, e.g. on-boarding, benefits enrolment, reward and performance management.
Ensures that these processes contribute appropriately to the delivery of the payroll service and are changed and/or optimised as required
Constantly monitors the statutory and regulatory environment in the UK to ensure that emerging legislative and statutory requirements are identified and embedded into payroll processes, ensuring that the company meets its employer obligations. Supports all payroll audits (internal and external)
