At PDSA we are currently looking for a Health & Safety Manager to join our team in Telford. You will join us on a full time permanent basis and will receive a highly competitive salary of £43,423 - £44,944 per annum.

About the Health & Safety Manager role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Health & Safety Manager to support our Directors and senior leaders in the planning, measuring, reviewing and auditing of H&S activities both at a strategic and day to day tactical level.

As the organisation’s health & safety expert, you will provide advice and assistance on all health & safety matters. You will play a key role in promoting a positive health & safety culture, driving ownership, accountability and compliance and ensuring the right behaviours to safeguard PDSA, its clients, people, supporters and the general public.

You’ll be responsible for identifying risk reduction priorities and for ensuring that appropriate action is taken to eliminate, minimise or mitigate those risks through the development and continuous improvement of PDSA’s health & safety management system.

What we’re looking for in our Health & Safety Manager;

As a credible expert, you’ll have experience in working with key stakeholders to develop and continually improve health & safety arrangements. Your sound knowledge and practical application of health & safety legislation, systems and processes coupled with your strong interpersonal skills enable you to influence others and drive behavioural change.
