Static Building Maintenance Engineer
Salary £28,393 per annum according to skills and experience.
37 hours per week to be worked Monday to Friday.

We are currently seeking a Static Building Maintenance Engineer to provide an efficient and effective repairs and maintenance service at Lea Bridge House by identifying and carrying out routine maintenance, repairs and void works, alongside out of hours emergency works when required.

You will also ensure the provision of a safe environment through carrying out routine repairs and maintenance throughout Lea Bridge House, including communal areas and tenanted properties. You will be responsible for carrying out voids works including routine maintenance, repairs, installation of furniture to properties, enabling properties to be re-let within agreed timescales. Further to this you will also  carry out daily building checks and participate in all scheduled Health and Safety inspections including PAT Testing, Fire Door checks, Fire Alarm inspection, testing and servicing.

The successful candidate must have a professional qualification in one or more building trades and demonstrable knowledge and experience of carrying out a range of repairs including plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrics and flooring. Experience of building services maintenance and carrying out compliance checks relating to fire safety, electrical safety and water hygiene (Legionella) are essential.

Due to the nature you must be physically capable of moving equipment and building furniture. You will also have the ability to work flexible hours including weekends.
