Location: New Milton
Salary: £22,220*
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Full time (Part time considered)
* Annual earnings based on a basic salary of £15,600, a Market Rate Allowance of £500, and incorporates shift enhancements for weekend working and sleep-in shifts as part of the rota.

The Role
As a Support Worker you will be assisting people with a Learning Disability & Physical Disabilities to live the life they want. You will provide safe, person centred support to promote independent living skills and help make a clients hopes and wishes a reality. The people we support have told us they are looking for people to support them who are fun to be with and have a good sense of humour to help them become more independent and achieve what they need when they need it.
Their interests are wide and varied and include supporting them with college, work, dancing swimming, cycling, going to the cinema/theatre, going out for meals and lots of different leisure activities as well as support with gaining daily life skills such personal care, medication, shopping, cooking, keeping their house clean, support to budget and not get into debt.
About You
Our clients want a hardworking, reliable, polite, friendly and respectful person to do these things with. Being reliable, flexible and a team player are attributes we are looking for in you. As well as having an understanding /knowledge and skills relating to people with disabilities and be flexible and creative. You will also be able to travel in and around the New Milton area with the use of your own vehicle.

Essential Requirements
The ideal Support Worker will:
* Have an understanding /knowledge and skills relating to people with disabilities
* Be flexible and creative

* Must be able to drive with the use of a car for work purposes
