Protocol Education are currently working in co-operation with an SEND setting and are looking for an experienced and qualified lifeguard to support with students with learning disabilities in and around the pool.
As a Lifeguard at our School, you'll make sure our students and staff members stay safe and healthy when using our brilliant hydrotherapy pool.
Doing all you can to create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment, as a Lifeguard you'll see that everyone who uses the pool enjoys a warm welcome and efficient service. Attentive and alert at all times, you'll make connections with students and staff, helping them to feel supported. Of course, if there's ever an incident, you'll respond straight away.
To join us, you'll need a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) and ongoing training records. We're looking for bags of enthusiasm, a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills. A real team player with a passion for providing great support to students and young people with a range of learning disabilities.
The school caters to the needs of a range of students with learning disabilities, complex medical needs and behavioural issues and cover ages 4 - 19.
The role itself would be full- time but term time only and is to start immediately.
