Maintenance Technician - Double Days
Location: West Midlands, Birmingham, Sutton Coldfield, Leamington, Bromsgrove, Warwick, Solihull, Coventry, Gaydon, Banbury, Tamworth, Nuneaton, Hinckley, Leicester
Salary: GBP25000 - GBP35000 + Shift allowance + 25 days holiday + Quarterly bonus + Pension scheme + Additional benefits
The Role:
Must conduct maintenance works (preventative and corrective), according to the plans and ranges defined by her/his supervisors while complying with the occupational safety rules.
Ensure the provided equipment to the Production is well-maintained.
Report on accomplished activities in the relevant IT system and ensure that machine files are updated.
Put forward improvement proposals relevant to equipment in order to optimize: occupational safety, quality and production costs.
Abide by the company procedures and operating instructions relevant to Quality, Safety and Environment within the scope of her/his duties and in compliance with the rules defined by the company.
May be required to intervene in the reception of new equipment and contribute in the development phase.
Key Skills:
Apprentice trained within a manufacturing (preferably robotics) background.
PLC experience (preferable).
Electrically biased.
Hydraulics and pneumatics experience.
Certain specific training or qualifications (Forklift truck driving) may be required depending on the activities.
The ideal candidate will be willing to learn, highly motivated with a 'can-do' attitude and ability to work alone as well as in a team.
