My client, an extremely successful and fast growing card issuer, is seeking 2 hires - one manager, one senior manager, who'll play a lead role in setting and delivering their product roadmap over the next few years. These roles reports directly in to the head of product development.

Over the last three years, the company has grown from 50 people to 300, and outgrown two offices. They have developed and promoted countless individuals, and they have an agenda to float over the next few years.

As leading members of the product and proposition team, these roles commercially manage the product portfolio. You will define and execute the commercial optimisation strategy for the portfolio, developing, harmonising, retiring and rationalising specific products to optimise profitability and mitigate risk. You will be responsible for ensuring that the business' overall service is well articulated and diverse, maximising coverage of consumer and customer needs.

In particular, you will take a lead on anticipating the opportunities that will become available as PSD2 kicks in - and you'll be tasked with developing a strategy and product roadmap that takes maximum advantage of the available opportunities.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate transferable business experience, ideally in a debt, or other financial services product. Due to engagement with multiple senior-level stakeholders, it will be crucial that you can demonstrate your previous experience influencing and persuading at the top level.

This represents a fantastic opportunity to have a significant impact on one of the fastest growing and most exciting financial services businesses in the UK. The company have a track record of hiring exceptional talent, and enabling good people to develop quickly. They have a forward-thinking, progressive culture of commerciality combined with creativity, which in turn creates a challenging and really enjoyable working environment.
