Finance Director

Kingscroft Professional Resources is seeking an exceptional Finance Director for a long standing construction company in Staffordshire. Our client is a family owned business, operating for over 40 years, and becoming a key name in their industry. The business is in need of an experienced Finance Director to ensure ongoing financial control, whilst contributing to the long term strategy of the business. Reporting directly to the managing director, the Finance Director will oversee the finance and operations side of the business. The Finance Director role will include: - Financial Control: Management of a team of 3 finance staff, covering sales purchase ledgers, payroll, sub-contract ledger, and property ledger. - Financial Reporting: Production of monthly management accounts for all companies within the group, and any Ad-hoc or Project reporting as needed. - Operations Management: Management of IT, HR, Health Safety, Quality, and Environmental elements of the business. Working alongside 3rd party consultants. - Strategic Planning: Providing financial and commercial advice to any strategic plans. The successful Finance Director will be: - Fully qualified accountant either ACCA / ACA / CIMA or sufficiently experienced. - Experienced in hands-on accounting at both operation and strategic levels. - Experienced in finance and business management.
