Monday - Thursday 8am - 4.30pm (* hours per day) & Fridays 8am - 1pm (5 hrs) = 27 hour working week

Pay

GBP42000 - GBP45000 dependant on experience, plus 4.8k Co Car allowance

The Job

Project Managing the Successful delivery of a variety of engineering projects whilst supporting the Programme Manager. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, maintaining and delivering effective projects, proactively monitoring their progress and resolving any issues that arise. Specifically projects will be focused around UHF SATCOM and its implementation on board naval vessels and within MOD establishments.

About You

You should be able to demonstrate the following:-

* Strong knowledge and/or experience of using UHF SATCOMs

* Proven experience of budget management and control

* Strong understanding of military, maritime engineering standards and requirements

* Strong knowledge of H&S Act 1974

* Good Organisation and communication skills

* Ability to work unsupervised both alone and in a team environment

* You must be a UK British Citizen who has resided in the UK for the last 5 years

* If you are not currently SC Cleared this will be a requirement of the role

Desirable skills/qualifications/experience

* Project management qualification

* Previous experience in a Project Management position preferably Military or Defence related

* SATCOM Knowledge / experience
