Process Engineer

Process Engineer Kingscroft have been asked to recruit by a tier 1 automotive manufacturer for a Process Engineer to work with a Process and Projects team. As the ideal candidate you will be skilled in process improvement, NPI ( design of new processes and tooling), LEAN Manufacturing and waste reduction. Your role will involve:

• Trialling, introduction and optimisation of new processes and tooling
• Small batch prototype runs in pre-production runs and trials
• Specifying new tooling
• Preparing process documentation for handover to production
• Continuous improvement general / lean manufacturing
• Process improvement to reduce waste and drive efficiency
• Creating and improving SOP , documentation and visual management
• Using observation and statistical tools to capture data direct improvements

As a Process Engineer with skills and experience in plastic processing, foams and rubbers you are well placed to secure this fantastic opportunity. Applications would also be encouraged from process engineers with more general automotive skills and a good understanding of tools such as FMEA , APQP and PPAP and skills in CNC routing or Robotic Programming.
