Area Manager

*PERMANENT AREA MANAGER REQUIRED * GBP33K - GBP34K SALARY * WORKING SHIFTS, 4 ON 4 OFF * BASED IN SHEFFORD *

My client, a prolific food manufacturer in Beds is seeking an Area Manager to join their team.

The role will involve:

Effective management and development of all staff

All aspects of health and safety

Responsibility of the quality of all products

Working to customer specifications

Responsible for maintenance and up-keep of all equipment

Accountable for all production downtime

Liaising with Engineering for any issues and PPM's

All aspects of training for staff

Undertaking all staff reviews, authorising holidays and completing return to works

Working to KPI's

Undertaking all records are maintained to standard

Completing necessary documentation

This role requires a strong leader with experience in the fresh food production industry. You must have a Food Hygiene certificate, experience of Quality and Technical procedures, knowledge of short life products, be an excellent communicator and have experience of accepting produce from suppliers.
