Title: Lead Residential Support Worker
Hours: 40 hours per week as per rota, 38 weeks per year (Term Time Only) including weekends and shift working.
Salary: Starting salary: GBP20,172 subject to a pro rata - actual salary GBP18,237
Base: St. John's School, Seaford
Lead Residential Support Workers are responsible for:
- Running the shift and overseeing & supporting the Residential Support Worker team, ensuring appropriate records are maintained and full shift handovers are carried out.
- Establishing supportive relationships with our residents and encourage the development of stable relationships between residents and other staff, their families and friends and within the group of residents.
- Promoting the emotional health and self-esteem of the residents and support them through changes in living circumstances and personal relationships.
- Supporting the residents in making their own choices and decisions to the maximum of their capability and ensure that the needs and wishes of residents are fully considered in any decision relating to them.
