Service Desk Analyst

Brook Street are currently working on behalf of an international IT company based in Peterborough recruiting for a Full time 1st Line IT Support Analyst on a 3 month temporary contract with possibility of becoming permanent.

Hours: shift work - hours between 07:00 to 21:30 (37 hours per week)

Salary: £9 to £11 per hour

The right person for this role will be taking 1st Line Helpdesk support calls from users and logging the incidents in their helpdesk application. You are responsible for resolving a large proportion of the helpdesk calls logged whilst speaking to the users and where appropriate, passing the calls on to the relevant technical support teams.

Your Job Duties will include;

• Providing 1st line support Clients across your international network
• Reducing the number of incidents progressing to 2nd line support
• Remotely accessing customers computers to troubleshoot any IT problems they could be facing
• Resetting passwords
• Analysing situations and evaluating problems to come up with the best solution for the business and customer
• Manage the expectations of customers whilst having an empathetic understanding of their issue
• Providing a friendly yet professional level of customer service
• Answering calls within a timely manner
• Handling complaints sensitively and understandingly
• Working unsupervised to ensure that the businesses service levels agreements are met
• Generate a team - friendly atmosphere and work across desks to support the end user efficiently and effectively
