CNC 5 AXIS SETTER OPERATOR

39 working week with an early finish on Friday

You will be joining a reputable engineering company who supply components into civil and military aerospace and defence industry sectors

For this CNC 5 AXIS setter operator position you must:

- Experience with HAAS, DMG and Hermle machines
- Experience setting operating multiple machines
- Able to read 2D and 3D engineering drawings
- Worked towards AS9100/ EASE part21 standards
- Experience with aerospace or nuclear and high tolerances
- Record productive time on manufacturing systems and manage Route Cards
- Must have worked with a variety of exotic metals
- able to self-inspect work and work with little supervision
- Involvement is activities such as 5S, TPM, SQDCP board discussions and OEE

Required qualifications as our CNC 5 AXIS SETTER OPERATOR:

- An academic background if possible with NVQ level 3 / City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering.
- Time served on programming / editing via Heidenhain & Siemens control systems, Fanuc controls also used but to lesser degree.

Shifts for this CNC 5 AXIS SETTER OPERATOR:

Monday - Friday 39 hour week with an early finish on a Friday

Plenty of overtime available at premium rates
