Business Development Manager / Field Sales / Sales Executive

Sales Manager with 1+ years' experience in food manufacturing or processing is needed by our client, a market-leading food ingredients distributor, to be based in Leicester and around the UK. They specialise in sourcing and supplying a range of high-quality food ingredients, ingredient blends, raw materials, chemicals and nutraceuticals to customers across the UK and Ireland.

With sites across Dublin, Leicestershire and Shanghai, they are now on the lookout for a passionate and experienced salesperson to join their sales team.

About the Role

As their Sales Manager, you will help take their international business to the next level. Your role will involve the following: interacting with customers (at a technical & commercial level), liaising with key suppliers and partners, building & maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, managing new customer accounts, identifying opportunities based on customer and market demands, delivering bespoke solutions to customers, and leading & executing sales projects and campaigns.

Travel across the UK, to their head office in Dublin, and occasionally to their commercial partners in mainland Europe will be required.

About You

• Minimum 1 year's experience in food manufacturing or processing
• Outstanding customer-facing skills
• Experience in product development
• Understanding of food industry trends & demands
