Principal Mechanical Design Engineer
Currently we are representing an international design lead engineering consultancy, that are seeking to appoint a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer to join their technology focused Building Services Team in Central London. Operating out of locations in the UK, Europe, Asia, Australia and the Middle East this award winning modern engineering consultancy focus on delivering cutting edge design lead projects working with high-end architects and prestigious end-clients. Their technology division works with international clients across the social media, internet, communications and financial sectors designing and delivering leading edge buildings across the UK and Europe.

The role will be ideally suited to a mechanical design engineer who is looking for a practice that offers technically challenging and unique one-off projects, where there is the opportunity to really influence and lead the design process as the earliest of stages. To be considered individuals will be educated to degree level in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (MEng or BEng or equivalent) and having gained experience in a Mechanical Building Services Design role in Europe. Project exposure within the Healthcare, Energy, Datacentre, Pharmaceutical, Industrial or similar is highly sought, and given the nature of their project portfolio it is also highly likely you will have experience in designing complex cooling systems and worked on designing highly resilient systems.
