As our Digital Architect you will be the digital representative in the broader technology decisions and requirements within the IT department and will be the technical lead for all digital activity, helping shape the solution, evaluate and select 3rd party software and cost the IT components for business case. You will work closely with Product Owners, the business analyst and the Head of Architecture.
Vitality is at an exciting time in its growth and this is an opportunity for a developer to join a small dynamic team that works closely with all aspects of the business and CIO function, to deliver innovative small change, BAU and product work. This will work involve close working with product teams, development partners and 3rd party solution providers.
Responsibilities as our Digital Architect include:
- Accountable for the end to end technical solution design for Digital projects
- High Level Design documentation and early preview documentation.
- Responsible for delivering digital architecture strategy and roadmap work contributing to the overall architecture strategy and roadmap.
- Technical Lead for digital RFP / technology selection where required.
- Pre-project helping business sponsors shape the solution and cost the IT components for a business case.
- Accountable for design authority and governance on digital projects.
- Technical lead working with off-shore designers/developers.
- Align solutions to the overall architecture strategy and governance framework
- Align solutions to information security and regulatory requirements
- Troubleshooting Digital technologies as required
To become our Digital Architect, you will have the below skills and experience:
- Sitecore, IIS, ASP.NET MVC, .NET, MsSQL, REDIS, HTML5, SEO
- Micro-services, REST, JSON, SOAP, JMS, Layer 7 API gateway
- Android, iOS, SSO, Xamarin
- Salesforce, TIBCO middleware (or equivalent)
- Amazon AWS, including cloud formation, RDS, security
- Proven experience of working in an architect role within projects, providing solution design, project support and delivery of project architecture to drive out cost effective solutions.
- Effective skills in communication, negotiation and persuasion with internal and external stakeholders and customers.
- Ability to work under pressure and within demanding timescales
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment with other technical disciplines
- Knowledge of architecture frameworks, patterns, techniques and methods.
