The Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle required a full-time Youth Ministry Co-ordinator in the Catholic Parish of Durham Martyrs. The parish lies in the centre of Durham city and is composed of three church centres, St Joseph’s in Gilesgate, our lady of mercy and St.Godric’s in the city centre, and St Bede’s in Newton Hall.
The parish has three vibrant primary schools and a very successful high school, St. Leonard’s, and it is eager to appoint a youth Ministry Co-ordinator to assist in nurturing the faith lives of young people.
The successful candidate will inspire and encourage young people in their and support the parish and school communication in developing their young ministry.
The candidate must be a practising catholic who is committed to sharing their faith and to working enthusiastically with and for young people.
This role is subjects to an Enhanced DGS check.
