Support Worker

If you have experience working in Health and Social Care we want to hear from you! A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Support Worker based in Worthing, West Sussex.

You will be working for a locally well known organisation that provides tailored care packages for adults with learning disabilities, Autism and challenging behaviour. The role of Support worker will be based in a residential home that supports upto 6 adults.

As a Support Worker your role will involve supporting the adults in all aspects of their daily lives, this will include; cooking, cleaning, shopping and going out into the community. You will ensure the service users receive a good standard of physical, emotional and social care.

The ideal candidate for this role will be enthusiastic and passionate about supporting people with learning disabilities. To be considered we are looking for someone who has worked in health and Social care in a similar setting and has experience of learning disabilities and/or challenging behaviour. An NVQ in health and social care is desirable but not essential as training towards this can be offered for the successful candidate.

You can expect to earn between £7 -£8 per hour with an additional £65 per sleep in shift. The role requires you to work shift patterns which will include some evenings, weekends and sleep in`s. if you are looking to a friendly and supportive staff team then do not hesitate and apply now!
