Due to excellent recent growth they are looking to provide inhouse developed touch screen solutions and provide complete technical support to all their clients. As such they currently have a great opportunity for an IT Support Technician to come on-board and provide 1st and 2nd line technical support.

Job Description

To provide support of mission critical touch screen software and support the team in the installation, configuration and overall maintenance. You will be liaising directly with the clients and provide technical support through phone calls and emails. You will be responsible for managing the help desk system and logging support tickets. Along with support, you will also play a crucial role in installation, configuring and testing touch screen software.

Required Skills

- Excellent knowledge of using and managing Windows operating systems (Windows 7 & Windows 10) as an administrator
- Knowledge of installing, configuring and maintaining software applications in Windows environment
- Ability to fully configure, install and test solutions.
- Proven methodical approach to fault diagnosis and troubleshooting
- Previous experience installing and assembling hardware components
- Experience of working with remote support tools such as Team Viewer, LogMeIn etc
- Ability to work within a team and also individually with little supervision
- Be confident, approachable and have a 'can-do' attitude

Desirable skills and knowledge

- Knowledge of MS Office, Adobe Photoshop
- Knowledge of using printers, PC hardware and interfaces
- Understanding and some experience of software development experience
- Experience of using a support / help desk system

The perfect candidate for the role will have a logical and methodical approach to problem solving, attention to details and excellent organisational skills. In addition, you will be able to build excellent rapport with customers whether the communication is by phone, email or face to face and convey technical information to a non-technical audience.

A full UK driving license is essential.
