LOCATION: Aberdeen

JOB TITLE: Key Account Manager

SALARY & BENEFITS: GBP24,000 - GBP29,000 + uncapped commission, realistic OTE GBP40,000+, company car and many other benefits

WORKING HOURS: Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:30

THE ROLE: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive, dynamic and self-motivated individual to join this successful business as a Key Account Manager in the Aberdeen area.

You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong business relationships of a defined portfolio of existing local accounts for small to medium sized businesses. Working in line with company goals you will develop strategies to develop profitable growth in revenue streams and build personal relationships with various customers and decision makers.

Key Responsibilities of the Key Account Manager, Aberdeen to include:
  • Presentation of a portfolio of products that meets the customers' requirements
  • Manage own diary and book appointments to visit customers on a regular basis to complete reviews of account
  • Identify additional sales opportunities to grow accounts and customer spend
  • Maintain appropriate records on clients and sales activities. Produce reports as required to the management team for review, and complete any customer reporting that may be required within required timescales.
THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate for the Key Account Manager role will be conscientious, organised, disciplined and well presented. You will need to be driven and hard-working to excel within this role with excellent one-to-one skills and an ability to talk to people from all backgrounds. You will be a sales professional with a proven track record in sales preferably with a media or advertising background.

Key Experience/ Characteristics required for the Key Account Manager role:
  • Previous experience within an Account Manager / Field Sales role
  • Full driving licence
  • Strong territory management experience
  • A strong knowledge of digital marketing
