Exciting opportunities have now arisen for two Multi Skilled Operatives (Plumbing and Plastering) to join our team in London. Within the role you will be responsible for completing repairs to the housing stock as required by our client whilst working effectively within a consistent operation repairs service.

Liaising with the Mears call centre you will enable a response to emergencies and other works within a given time period, whilst ensuring the work has been carried out both effectively and efficiently.  You will complete the works to a high-quality standard in order to maximise first time fix criteria, appointment objectives alongside improving resident satisfaction.  You will be able to submit presentable and accurate paperwork which includes PDA data base information coupled with using SOR and descriptive works, in order to cost works which are being completed. Within the role you will work within a busy repairs team environment, reporting individual actions from site guaranteeing maximum service delivery and high levels of resident satisfaction at all times.

Ideally candidates will hold Builder/ multi skilled first trade experience in Plumbing or Plastering but must also be able to paint and carry out work on glazing wooden, metal crittall and UPVC, and will also be able to carry out brickwork/roofing/labouring/ tiling and carpentry/lock changes and repairs.

You should also hold a relevant trade qualification or extensive experience in 3 or more trades, preferably within Glazing, roofing, plumbing, carpentry and wet trades (i.e plastering/brickwork/tiling etc). A proficient user of IT, you will be a motivated individual with the ability to succeed. Successful operatives will also be added to the branch out of hours rota.

Candidates for this role must hold a full valid driving license

In addition to the salary, out of hours overtime, Company Van, Fuel Card, PDA/ Mobile, Company Pension Scheme and 20 days annual leave will be included as standard
